The BJP came into power with a strategic plan during their election campaign to defeat the Congress and win the elections and they were hugely successful with their campaign. BJP fielded the right candidates from the right constituencies.
The involvement of youth in these elections had been an important factor. Almost all parties centered their campaign on youth, and BJP passed the test with flying colors. The youth of our nation are no stronger than before and  stood up to elect the government, which would take greater responsibility.
Before the Lok Sabha election the BJP in its election campaign came up with a slogan “ACCHHE DIN AANE WALE HAIN”, which attracted the people towards the Modi wave.
But its feeling was noticed only when the results exceeded all forecasts and BJP came in power with majority by getting 282 seats, becoming the first party after 30 years to do so. At the same time people had high expectations that with the induction of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister , the good days will begin and they will have respite from high inflation and other problems. Its  more than two months since BJP has been in power and during this period , Narendra Modi has taken some important decisions but no concrete steps have been initiated to take control over inflation. Because of ongoing crisis in the gulf region the prices of petrol  and diesel were hiked, bus and rail fares were also increased and taking cognizance of it, the government and private bus operators had increased the bus fare. The prices of all essential commodities are on higher side.
With this trend , those who had voted in favour of BJP expecting good days are feeling cheated.
Whatever may be the circumstances, the common man will not be satisfied till there is a check on inflation. It does not benefit the common man with the fall of gold rates, LCDs, LEDs rate , who will receive wheat at higher rate.So the issue of increase in price(s) needs to be taken on priority by the central government and ensure the availability of daily use items at cheaper rates for common people.
But so far, there is no feeling of ”ACCHHE DIN AANE WALE HAIN” and now people have started questioning  “ACCHE DIN KAB  AYENGE”.
